Core Values

Core Values

Core Values are the constant, passionate, biblical beliefs that undergird and drive the ministry of Northland Bible Church. They explain why we do what we do and answer the question -What is really important to us?

We value the Bible as God's authoritative Word . . .

Therefore we will endeavor to study God's word  personally, teach His word correctly, and seek to apply His word daily to our lives.

We value authentic Worship and Praise . . .

Therefore we will create an encouraging and uplifting environment where people can bring glory to God.

We value Prayer . . .

Therefore we will engage in personal, family, and corporate prayer remembering to pray for each other and for the salvation of lost souls.

We value culturally relevant Outreach(evangelism, soul winning) . . .

Therefore we will develop multiple outreach ministries while training our people to share their faith effectively.

We value Fellowship . . .

Therefore we will demonstrate Christian love by being hospitable to each other, spending time with one another, and participating in various God honoring activities together.

We value Discipleship . . .

Therefore we will provide the resources and training for focused Bible studies for men, women, and children as well as for new believers and perspective members.

We value Marriage and the Family . . .

Therefore we will honor these foundational elements of society by giving regular biblical instruction to our people, by providing counseling to hurting families, and by spending time with our spouses and children.

We value Lay Ministry and Servanthood . . .

Therefore we will seek to involve every member in ministry by identifying entry-level ministries, helping people discover their spiritual gifts, and providing them with appropriate training and encouragement.

We value Missions . . .

Therefore we will make Missions a priority throughout the year by praying for more laborers, providing material support, participating in mission trips, and maintaining a healthy balance between foreign and home missions.

We value Children . . .

Therefore we will seek to teach our children to be Christlike by conducting quality children's ministries, developing God-centered homes, setting biblical examples as godly parents, and helping our children work out their life direction.

We value Biblical Counseling . . .

Therefore we will seek to uplift and help those who struggle with life’s problems by sharing relevant principles from God’s all-sufficient Word, and by providing the resources and training our church families require.
